The Power of Mental Clarity: How to Find Inner Peace

May 22, 2023

The world is full of negative news every day and seemingly more and more. You’ll be hard-pressed to open the daily news on your phone, or flip the TV on, and find positive news stories. From global pandemics, violence and rioting, and flailing economies, all of these stories and conflicting viewpoints can do a number on an individual’s mental health. Many are seeking to find peace in a world filled with disorder and chaos. But what is the key to finding calm amidst the bustle of a busy life filled with worry and unplanned circumstances? Understanding the power of your personal mental clarity is the answer. Read this guide on how to find inner peace and discover how you can regain the power of your mental clarity.

Sleep

Sleep is one of the most underestimated human bodily activities. If an individual wants to get some rest and sleep or take a nap, they are often frowned upon or stigmatized as lazy or depressed. The truth is, our bodies need rest in order to maintain mental focus and clarity. The less we sleep, the less our brain neurons can fire up and do their jobs. When we get the right amount of sleep each night, our bodies are better able to handle the decisions we make the following day. From boosting mental clarity, revving up energy levels, and improving overall health, getting proper sleep is crucial to having peace. Without enough rest, our bodies go into survival mode often producing high levels of stress and anxiety. It’s critical to get at least 8-10 hours of sleep each night to feel the positive effects of sleep.

Start creating a healthy sleep routine each night but turning off all social media, televisions, phones, computers, etc. Read a book or partake in an activity that doesn’t stimulate the brain. Create a dark and cool environment where you will get some shut eye and don’t check the clock throughout the night.

Diet

Just like sleeping enough, our diet also plays an essential role in cultivating a mind full of mental clarity. If you’re eating junk food filled with sugars, artificial flavors, dyes, and other processed ingredients and preservatives, it affects your gut health which science has shown to affect how the brain functions. When your gut is filled with unhealthy bacteria from junk food as opposed to healthy bacteria, the brain is also impacted by these highly processed foods. You’ll be likely to experience brain fog, memory loss, and even in some cases mild to severe forms of anxiety and depression.

So how do you combat an unhealthy gut which leads to an unhealthy mindset? The answer lies in choosing a healthy diet. One of the best ways to ensure your diet is going to strengthen your brain is to find foods high in antioxidants. C60, or Carbon 60, is a powerful antioxidant that has the power to relieve oxidative stress by neutralizing more than one free radical at a time and it can reset itself to continuing getting the job done. C60 can be found in Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil from the C60 purple power products shop. It is organic, cold pressed, and has the benefits of a heart healthy olive oil. Olive oils can help prevent memory loss in the brain and help our brains get healthier.

Start eating healthier to experience reduced levels of stress and anxiety and you’ll find your brain is better focused on positive decision making.

Brain Games

One of the easiest, and possibly most fun ways to strengthen the power of your mental clarity in order to have a peaceful mindset is to play games considered “brain games”. These types of games help your brain stay in an active learning mode, making your brain grow stronger and more pliable as you age. Games like chess, sudoku, scrabble, and more are just some of the entertaining choices to help build your brain muscles. Brain games keep your brain ready and able to learn new skills. Learning new skills and finding new hobbies is a great way to combat worry, stress, anxiety, and depression. Learning how to do something new is a great way to find inner peace and feel good about your accomplishments, not to mention it’s a great distraction from negative news.

Social Circle

Having a support system of positive friends, peers, mentors, and acquaintances is crucial in finding and keeping your inner peace. Surround yourself with people who will cheer you on, encourage you, and also challenge you in healthy ways. Don’t be afraid of people with different opinions and views, instead use them as a tool to sharpen your own beliefs.

You can find your inner peace by taking simple steps from changing your diet, getting more sleep, finding great friends, and yes turning off the nightly news. Look forward to the future by honing the power of your brain and mental clarity.
