$150 - $435 Compassionate Therapy for Life’s Hardest Moments Are you moving through a time of grief, loss, or unexpected transition? Do anxiety, depression, or stress make it hard to feel grounded? Are you navigating relationship concerns or feeling disconnected from yourself? Do you feel like you’ve lost touch with your inner clarity and direction? Are you searching for a therapist who will meet you with depth, care, and respect for your lived experience? Do any of these sound familiar? If so, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to face this journey without support. Welcome—I’m Sarah Trank I seek to offer a space where you can feel genuinely seen, supported, and understood—a space to find clarity in the midst of uncertainty and move toward healing at your own pace. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, grief, pregnancy loss, spiritual struggles, relationship challenges, or life transitions, I bring a warm and steady presence to accompany you on your path toward wholeness. Healing That Honors Your Inner Strength At the heart of my work is a deep belief in the innate resilience and wisdom within every person. Even when life feels overwhelming, I trust that there are parts of you that already know how to survive, adapt, and grow. My role is to help you reconnect with those strengths, especially when they feel hidden beneath the weight of life’s difficulties. Grief Is a Journey, Not a Destination I have a specialization in supporting individuals through grief and loss in all its forms. Whether you’re mourning the death of a loved one, navigating a shift in identity, or experiencing a silent grief like unfulfilled dreams, I believe grief is not something to “get over”—it is something to be witnessed, tended to, and honored. Therapy offers a safe space to be with these tender places and find your own meaningful way forward. My approach is informed by the Dual Process Model of grief, which recognizes that healing naturally involves moving between confronting the pain of loss and gradually adapting to life after it. Some days may call for honoring sadness and remembering what has been lost, while others may involve reconnecting with daily life, relationships, or new possibilities. Both are essential parts of healing, and there is no "right" pace or path through grief. Therapy offers a safe space to move between these experiences with support, helping you find your own meaningful way forward while honoring both your loss and your capacity for resilience. A Thoughtful and Practical Approach to Therapy Grounded in a psychodynamic framework, I incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS), CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-based practices. Together, we’ll explore the emotional patterns that shape your inner world, while also building practical tools to support your everyday well-being, such as: Grounding techniques Emotion regulation strategies Boundary setting Communication tools Honoring All of Who You Are In earning my Master’s in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller School of Psychology in Pasadena, California, I learned to embody the belief that our identities deeply impact how we heal. This is not just something I was taught—it’s something I witness in my work every day. Our stories are shaped by our culture, race, gender, spirituality, sexuality, and lived experiences. These layers of identity influence not only what we’ve been through, but how we relate to ourselves and others, how we cope, and how we grow. I am committed to creating a therapeutic space where all parts of you are welcome—especially the ones that have felt unseen or misunderstood. Whether you are holding questions around identity, navigating marginalization, or seeking space to reconnect with who you are, you will be met here with curiosity, affirmation, and care. Let’s Walk This Path Together Whatever you’re carrying, you don’t have to carry it alone. Therapy can be a space to find yourself again—to be accompanied in the places that feel confusing, painful, or in need of clarity. I will walk with you with warmth, respect, and compassion as we navigate your unfolding story—at your pace, guided by your values, and grounded in your strengths. Whether we meet in-person for Long Beach Therapy or California online therapy, I am ready to help you on your path to healing.![]()
