My Therapeutic Approach
My approach to Santa Clarita therapy and Burbank Therapy emphasizes empowerment, accessibility, and evidence-based care. I strive to meet clients where they are, recognizing that each individual’s story, strengths, and challenges are unique. My work is guided by a deep commitment to creating client-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive spaces where individuals feel safe to explore their experiences and develop skills that support meaningful, lasting progress. I believe therapy is most effective when you feel heard, respected, and actively involved in shaping your own healing process.I integrate a range of therapeutic modalities, including:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address unhelpful thought patterns and build practical coping skills
- Solution-Focused Therapy to identify strengths, goals, and achievable steps forward
- Narrative Therapy to help clients re-author their stories and reconnect with a sense of agency
- Attachment-based approaches to explore relational patterns and build healthier connections
Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all model, I work collaboratively with clients to craft a therapeutic approach that aligns with their goals, cultural context, and lived experience. Therapy with me is structured yet flexible—focused on both understanding root concerns and developing tools that support day-to-day functioning.
Supporting Students, Families, and Individuals
In my school-based work, I provide targeted instructional services to high school students navigating challenges with emotional regulation, academic pressure, learning differences, and social stressors. I am especially mindful of how mental health, identity development, and educational environments intersect during adolescence.
Across all settings, I aim to foster self-awareness, emotional resilience, and confidence, helping clients feel better equipped to handle stressors both inside and outside the therapy room.
A Collaborative and Compassionate Space
At the heart of my work is a belief that healing happens in relationships—when clients feel supported, respected, and encouraged to take ownership of their growth. I am passionate about creating spaces that are nonjudgmental, inclusive, and affirming, where individuals can explore difficult emotions while also recognizing their strengths and capacity for change.
As I continue working toward licensure, I am eager to grow within a collaborative clinical environment that values strong supervision, teamwork, and ongoing learning. I bring curiosity, humility, and dedication to my work, and I am deeply committed to providing thoughtful, ethical, and compassionate care.
Diverse Clinical Background
I am a Clinical Psychology graduate student at Pepperdine University, currently training on the LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) and LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor) track. I bring over four years of clinical experience supporting adults, adolescents, and children across diverse mental health settings, both internationally and within the United States.
- School-based counseling, supporting emotional regulation, academic stress, and interpersonal challenges
- Designated Instructional Services (DIS) and School-Based Counseling (SBC) with high school students
- Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) settings
- Virtual reality–based social-emotional learning programs
- Crisis intervention and psychoeducational content creation
Healing starts with one brave step. If you’re ready to take the next step, I invite you to reach out and schedule a Santa Clarita Therapy or Burbank Therapy appointment—support is here when you’re ready.
Empowering Growth
Therapy is not about fixing you—it’s about supporting you as you build insight, skills, and confidence to move forward in ways that feel meaningful and sustainable. Whether you are managing anxiety or depression, navigating academic or family stress, or seeking greater emotional balance, I am here to walk alongside you in the process.
Together, we can work toward healing, growth, and a greater sense of empowerment—one step at a time.
