- Do you feel stuck in the same patterns, unsure of how to move forward?
- Are you navigating grief, change, or uncertainty and don’t know where to turn?
- Do anxiety, sadness, or relationship struggles leave you feeling disconnected from yourself or others?
- Are you longing for clarity, peace, and a deeper sense of purpose in your life?
You don’t have to face these challenges alone. Through effective counseling in Burbank, I provide a safe, compassionate space to explore your inner world, gain tools for real change, and move toward healing. Together, we’ll uncover pathways to resilience, growth, and authentic connection.
My Approach to Counseling
At the core of my practice is the belief that self-understanding is the first step toward wellness. When we slow down and explore our thoughts, emotions, and patterns, we create the possibility for deep transformation.
My counseling style is person-centered and collaborative. I believe you are the expert on your own life—I am here to walk beside you, ask thoughtful questions, and help you discover practical strategies that align with your values and goals.
I draw on evidence-based approaches, including:- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – to shift unhelpful thought patterns and strengthen coping skills.
-
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) – to support emotional regulation, mindfulness, and more fulfilling relationships.
Whether you’re working through anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, or life transitions, I tailor our work to your unique needs.
Life Experience That Shapes My Work
As a husband, father, and now grandfather, I have a deep understanding of the complexities of family life—the joys, the struggles, and everything in between. These experiences shape how I show up in the therapy room: with steadiness, empathy, and a commitment to helping you feel truly seen.
Whether you’re healing after divorce, grieving the loss of a loved one, or navigating personal growth, I provide a grounded, compassionate space to explore your journey and find clarity.
Integrating Faith and Spirituality
For many, spirituality serves as a source of comfort during difficult times. If desired, I am trained to offer spiritually integrated counseling, weaving your values and beliefs into the process in a way that supports your healing. I welcome clients from all faith traditions and backgrounds, honoring the role spirituality can play in resilience and identity.
My Background
I am currently completing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. Before entering the field of therapy, I worked in live productions as an audio engineer and technical director—roles that refined my ability to remain grounded under pressure, collaborate effectively, and support individuals in high-stakes environments. These skills enrich the steady, supportive presence I bring into therapy today.
About Me
Outside of the therapy room, you’ll often find me outdoors—at the beach, hiking, or spending time with my dog. I also enjoy baking and candle-making, practices that remind me to slow down and stay present in the moment.
Why Work Together?
Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about reconnecting with yourself, your values, and the people you love. My role is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore challenges, build resilience, and take steps toward living more authentically.
Through effective Burbank counseling, we’ll work together to help you:
-
Break free from limiting patterns
-
Manage anxiety and depression with confidence
-
Heal from grief and life transitions
-
Strengthen relationships with honesty and clarity
-
Reconnect with your authentic self
If you’re ready to move toward peace, clarity, and purpose, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
