A Vision for True Healing & Authentic Living
Something brought you here today. Maybe it’s a longing for deeper understanding, emotional relief, or a renewed sense of purpose. Perhaps you’ve tried therapy before and left feeling unheard, or maybe this is your first step into self-discovery. Whatever brought you here, this could be the moment your healing begins—whether you’re seeking individual support or couples therapy to strengthen your relationship and reconnect with one another.- Do you feel like no one truly understands your pain?

- Do you need a safe space to express your feelings without fear or judgment?
A Commitment to Deep & Transformational Healing

- Enhance communication and rebuild trust in relationships
- Heal from betrayal, grief, and unresolved trauma
- Cultivate self-awareness, emotional resilience, and clarity
- Break free from an endless cycle of medication and ineffective talk therapy
Innovative Approaches to Healing
I integrate attachment-based theory, trauma-informed modalities, unconscious parts work, psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, and somatic healing approaches, allowing clients to process pain at both the conscious and unconscious levels. I have trained extensively in Gottman Couples Method Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT & EFIT), Brainspotting, EMDR, Exposure/Prevention OCD Training, Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy, and Mindfulness-Based Techniques.
Understanding the Unique Challenges of Creatives & the Entertainment Industry
Having worked as an Intimacy Set Coordinator and as a former actor, I understand the psychological challenges of the entertainment industry, including imposter syndrome, performance anxiety, creative blocks, and relationship struggles. My background in theater and film has given me a unique perspective in supporting artists, writers, and performers who seek to balance authenticity with the pressures of public life. In addition to my clinical training, I have several training sessions in Intimacy Set Coordination through IDC Professionals and Open Intimacy Creatives. This training allows me to provide support to my clients who work in the entertainment industry, both on and off set.
Supporting High-Responsibility Professionals: Legal & Medical Fields
In addition to my work with individuals, couples, and creatives, I have extensive experience supporting professionals in high-demand fields such as law and medicine. These environments often require individuals to carry immense responsibility while maintaining composure under pressure—frequently at the cost of their own emotional well-being.
I was recently invited to contribute to the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles in an article titled “The Invisible Burden,” where I explored the psychological weight carried by legal professionals. Many attorneys operate in high-stakes environments that demand constant advocacy, emotional containment, and exposure to trauma—yet rarely provide space to process these experiences.
This “invisible burden” often presents as chronic stress, burnout, emotional fatigue, and disconnection—from oneself and from others. Similarly, medical professionals frequently navigate high-pressure decision-making, long hours, and emotional strain that can lead to compassion fatigue and diminished well-being over time.
My work with these populations focuses on helping individuals:- Process secondary trauma and emotional overload
- Reconnect with purpose beyond performance
- Build sustainable coping strategies and boundaries
- Restore emotional balance while maintaining professional excellence
I provide a space where high-achieving individuals can step out of their roles and reconnect with their humanity—without judgment, expectation, or pressure to “hold it all together.”
Dedication to Mental Health & Advocacy
I supervise and train Master’s psychology students and lecture in middle and high schools on self-esteem, stress management, and mindfulness. Beyond my clinical work, I often serve as a guest expert on the news, provide mental health consultation to television and film productions, consult on how lawyers can become trauma-informed in their work, and have authored two books and dozens of articles. I am deeply committed to expanding knowledge and fostering meaningful conversations that inspire growth, healing, and self-discovery. Whether through education, advocacy, or mentorship, I believe that sharing psychological insights with the greater community empowers individuals to navigate life with greater awareness, resilience, and authenticity.
Your Journey to Healing Begins Here
Whether you are struggling with anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, or a deep longing to feel more connected to yourself and others, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Therapy is a place where you can reclaim your story, heal past wounds, and move toward the life you truly desire.
I invite you to take the first step. Reach out today—your path to authentic healing and transformation starts here.
Psychedelic Psychotherapist
In addition to traditional psychotherapy, I have completed a 1-year fellowship to become certified in Psychedelic Medicine. My certification was focused on Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy with psychedelic medicines such as, lab-generated FDA approved medicines, Psilocybin, Bufo 5-MeO-DMT, Ayahuasca, San Pedro (Mescaline), Peyote, LSD and MDMA. I completed the fellowship and certification examination during the 2021/2022 cohort through the prestigious Integrative Psychiatry Institute. Psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy can help reduce or eliminate anxiety and treatment-resistant depression, assist in recovery from substance abuse/dependence, and provide a significant reduction in PTSD symptoms when monitored by trained professionals.
My Journey As A Therapist
A Lifelong Dedication to Mental Health & Advocacy
I have 25+ years of experience in the field of psychology. In addition to my educational and clinical background as a marriage family therapist, my experience includes two decades of working as a lay counselor for various organizations. I have facilitated support groups with couples in premarital and marriage counseling, individuals healing from divorce, and families navigating life-stage challenges. This provides an experience that is more comprehensive than just a Bachelor’s and Master’s in psychology and offers unique perspectives and valuable insights beyond the traditional classroom setting.
My quest to professionally help began in high school in the 1980s as a peer-to-peer counselor, then as a drug and alcohol counselor and a pre-med student in the early 1990s. In 1996, I took a position as a patient surgical coordinator, specifically working as a health care advocate for individuals struggling with bipolar disorder, depression, and anxiety that impacted their ability to tolerate surgical procedures and recovery.
In 2000, I was a department administrator at UCLA Medical Center, overseeing health care advocacy and patient counseling for transplant services. In 2002, my focus shifted toward working with women’s health issues, particularly women struggling with postpartum depression and depression during menopause. By 2009, I was working with high school teens, and in 2014, I established Hope Therapy Center—a space devoted to deep, integrative healing.
