Psychedelic Processing Group
The aim of a psychedelic processing group is to help individuals gain a deeper understanding of themselves, their relationships, and the world around them. Participants may share their experiences with others, discuss insights gained from their psychedelic experiences, and receive support and guidance from the group and psychedelic psychotherapists.
Psychedelics can provide transformation and breakthroughs for patients suffering from treatment-resistant depression, addiction, trauma, lack of motivation, loss of creativity, and other mental health issues.
Some clients prefer to attend a psychedelic retreat guided by a trained therapist and then engage with a psychedelic processing group after completing the retreat.
Have you had a recreational psychedelic experience?
Psychedelic processing group focuses on integrating the insights, experiences, and lessons gained from psychedelic experiences into one's daily life through a group process with other individuals who have had psychedelic experiences. It is typically used as a follow-up to psychedelic-assisted therapy, but can also be used as standalone therapy for individuals who have had psychedelic experiences outside of a therapeutic context (i.e., Burning Man, Coachella, other festivals, recreationally with friends, etc.).
The goal of a psychedelic processing group is to help individuals make sense of their psychedelic experiences and integrate the insights and lessons learned into their everyday lives. This can involve exploring feelings of awe, transcendence, and connectedness that may have been experienced during the psychedelic experience, as well as any challenging or difficult emotions and experiences that may have surfaced.
Our psychedelic processing group is facilitated by a certified psychedelic therapist and may involve mindfulness or meditation, creative expression, or other techniques to help integrate the experience. The group processing may also involve discussing any mental health issues or challenges uncovered during the psychedelic experience.
Psychedelic processing groups are gaining recognition as an important part of the overall psychedelic therapy process, as they can help individuals maintain the positive changes and insights gained from the psychedelic experience over the long term. It is important to note that psychedelic integration therapy should only be conducted by a trained and certified therapist who is knowledgeable about psychedelic therapy and its potential risks and benefits.
